2025 Update

In December 2025, a member of the Ubuntu Through Health team travelled to Nepal to visit COSAN and attend a four-day Women’s Health Camp. During those four days, 1,105 women received vital medications, cervical cancer screening, gynaecological assessments, and prolapse care directly within their rural communities.

These camps provide life-changing healthcare for women who often have little to no access to medical services. In addition to on-site treatment and screening, women identified with severe uterine prolapse were referred for fully funded surgery, which includes not only the procedure itself but also accommodation, travel, food, and ongoing support throughout recovery - restoring comfort, mobility, and dignity after years of silent suffering.

We are incredibly proud to continue supporting COSAN’s work in Nepal and advancing our mission of promoting equitable access to healthcare globally. Check out our blog to read more about the December 2025 camp and the impact it had on the communities served.
